Think about keeping a travel journal this summer. Save ticket stubs from events, newspaper articles, and other artifacts to create your own primary source historical document. Have a wonderful summer!

Mon. 5/19 - Mini-Society International Market 11:00-12:00. Finish GeoHistorian Project.
Tues. 5/20 - End of Year Feedback. Finish GeoHistorian Project
Wed. 5/21 - Depart RP 10:30-Return 1:45. Biking Field Trip. Lunch at David Green Park.
Thurs. 5/22 - Last Day of School for Students. 11:30 - Early Lunch in Class. 2:00-3:00 End of Year slide show.
Fri. 5/23 - Teacher's last day. First day of Summer Break for students!

Tues. 4/29 - Begin audio recordings and iMovie projects for 50 Word Stories
Wed. 4/30 - GeoHistorian - Google Maps & Geographic Analysis of Ship Creek
Thurs. 5/1 - GeoHistorian - Form GH Teams, select buildings, begin research
Fri. 5/2 - 50 Word Story iMovie projects completed. Mini-Society Silent Auction for Food Licenses.

Welcome Back! Ongoing projects this week include Historical Graphic Novel pages, A Wrinkle in Time assignments, and Lego Machine models. Students will also be completing the practice books for the SBA tests happening the first week of April.

Mon. 3/3 - Begin science fair project. Simple machines. In class.
Homework: Write the 50 words you plan to use for "Dr. Seuss" stories.
LL2 & Hakim notes due date extended.

Tues. 3/4 - Seuss stories due - in class. Begin research on simple machine.
Homework: Look for pictures of objects that use your simple machine - gears, levers, pulleys, or wheels & axles. Bring to school to use on science fair board.

Wed. 3/5 - Literacy Letter 2 & Hakim Notes due (extended due date).
Science Fair - draft writing in class.

Thurs. 3/6
8:00 AM - Read Across America Breakfast!
Science Fair board - finish in class. Get ready for 3/19!

Fri. 3/7 - No School For Students/Spring Break
